Dealing With Solid Waste And Hazardous Waste
At WatskyLaw, we have extensive experience working with the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) regulations governing hazardous waste site cleanup. We support clients who are seeking or defending against cost recovery demands under Chapter 21E. Hazardous waste site cleanup is a cooperative effort among lawyers, engineers and scientists in developing technical studies and risk assessments to comply with the MCP. Prior to going to law school, Matt Watsky studied environmental science and Rachel Watsky studied earth science. This background allows them to fit in well with scientists and engineers on site cleanup projects.
Our legal team also represents clients who are involved in solid waste facility site assignments. We have served as hearing officers in site assignment hearings for the City of Chelsea Board of Health, City of Haverhill Board of Health, City of Lowell Board of Health and Northbridge Board of Health.
